Does your kiosk offer a high quality sharpening?

Yes, many skate shops and major league hockey teams already use the same machine we have in our self service kiosk.

How big is the kiosk?

The kiosk is approximately 40" in height, 30" in width, and 18" in depth.

What do I need at my facility to install a Kiosk?

It simply requires a single standard outlet, everything else is self contained.

My facility already has an in-house skate sharpening service, can I control the hours the kiosk is available so it doesn't take away from my current offerings?

Yes, simply let us know which hours/days you would like the kiosk to operate during.

How often should I expect people to use the kiosk?

Hockey players get their skates sharpened 4x as often when they have access to a self serve kiosk.

What size of grind does the kiosk use?

We use a 5/8ths grind which has become the standard grind for "beer league" skaters.

Can figure skates and goalie skates sharpened with the kiosk?

No. Only standard ice hockey skates.

Can black steel be sharpened with the kiosk?

Yes, the only difference would be the deburring stone used. A regular steel deburring stone is attached to the machine in addition to a specialized stone for black steel.
